Availability Support

Availability is an iPhone app for iOS 26 or later that calculates Monday–Friday availability from calendars you select, with optional travel estimates. You review the result before sharing it.

Getting started

  1. Allow Full Access to calendars when prompted.
  2. Open Availability’s Settings and select calendars containing your busy time.
  3. Review your working hours.
  4. For travel estimates, enter a home/start location and choose travel mode and buffer. Timed events need usable locations. You can turn travel off.
  5. Optionally enter a recipient name and phone number for Messages drafts.
  6. Choose This Week or Next Week and review the result.

Calendar permission or missing calendars

In iPhone Settings, find Availability’s calendar permission and allow Full Access. Return to the app and tap Settings > Refresh Calendars. Check that the relevant calendar account is enabled on your iPhone.

Changing calendars

Open Settings and tap calendars to select or deselect them. A checkmark identifies each selected calendar.

Changing hours or travel

Use Settings > Working Hours to choose the start and end of your workday. The end must follow the start. Under Travel, change the travel mode and extra buffer, or turn travel off.

Travel errors

Check the home/start location and the locations of timed events. Apple Maps requires a network connection and may not find every place or route. Correct the location or disable travel, then calculate again.

No availability shown

This Week covers the remaining weekdays through Friday; on weekends it has no remaining days. Try Next Week. Displayed windows are rounded to five-minute boundaries, and windows shorter than one hour are omitted.

Messages button unavailable

Generate availability and enter a recipient phone number. Your device must support message composition. You can select and copy the displayed availability without configuring a recipient.
